Failing Forward
Reframing what it is to fail
A Comforting Vegan Dinner You’ll Crave Again and Again
I’ll never forget the first time I combined hearts of palm mash with hearty beans and mushrooms — it felt like discovering the ultimate vegan comfort food. As someone who’s spent years perfecting plant-based dinners that are both cozy and nutrient-dense, I knew I struck gold. This dish checks off everything I look for: creaminess, depth of flavor, simple ingredients, and a hearty “stick-to-your-ribs” feel that even non-vegans rave about.

When did we learn to be afraid of failing? We failed when we learned the basic skills of life like walking, driving brushing one’s teeth, but look at where you are now, we can read right and conjure up ideas and realities in our minds with no help required.
If one can learn any skill and be great at it, then there is no limit to what one can become.
When did we stop learning new things that can fast track the fulfillment of our desires?
Is it when we started caring about what others might think? It is needed for a certain extent because we are social organisms and we exist as enter beings. We do not want to get so disapproved that we get to be kicked out of the system or the tribe as they call it.
Is it when we learned to overthink and worry and mistake it for being responsible and on top of things?
We also learned to be attached to outcomes and be so linear in our journey that we always talk ourselves out of something the spirit whispers to us that is extra ordinary.
The key here is balance, to care, think and worry only as much as it is needed.
But the whole of life runs on a perfect order. It runs on accurate mathematical laws that if followed will grant us the life of our dreams.
Now on opinions of others as hindrance: Understand that each, and every being has their own unique set of qualities, preferences, realities, and this variation, this differentiation is the manifestation of the intelligence of God, endlessly expressing and getting to know itself in millions of permutations.
What works stay, what is of no use gets eliminated, what is of love flourishes, what is of collaboration enables growth and expansion. May it be beliefs you have of the world and yourself, or systems and habits you practice each day.
Expansion is the nature of life from a divine spark in the Cosmos to the sperm meeting the egg and then you.
You right here right now contain all the intelligence of our ancestors that lived in the past. You contain all of the wisdom of the poets and sages. It has been said that it is a mathematical fact that you have breathed the breath of Jesus.
To seek approval is to dampen the speed of evolution, conformity takes you farther from your real You. The one who dwells on the fringe. You were like this when you were a little child, remember running as fast as you can, and laughing so hard about something so what seem to be so mundane in the eyes of adults. Being open to new things increases your chance for miracles.
The truth is nobody knows what they are doing. You are unfathomable and ever changing. Part of your evolution is failing, failing shows you the key and what door knob it fits. It’s data, hard data that you can base your next moves on. It gives you direction and clarity about what you really want and how you are to get it. And in getting it, you actualize yourself. You break free from limitation and create the world of your dreams, the one that is pure and rightly yours. Containing peace, love and endless expression of the divine.
I hope you see failure differently today, if so, How? let me know in the comments.
