The most important skill that we need to learn is how to be present. This is the only way that we can truly open up to the gift of life.
How are you to know that you already got everything that you’re searching for if you don’t stop look around and be thankful?
Take a moment to stop, pause, and breathe in the miracle of life that is unconditionally happening. it is happening in your blood, in the stars, in the ocean, and all living and nonliving things.
If you really think about it, there is no such thing as a nonliving thing. Everything is energy, whirling, and swirling about. Alive and running on a divine intelligence beyond conception of our rational minds.
The aliveness that has always been here, supporting you, supporting the universe.
It has been here while you are undergoing the most treacherous heartbreak, and it is also here for you in your greatest achievements, when you first learned how to walk, your graduation and your promotion.
May we be not too attached to excitement of grand things nor to hesitant of the mundane moments.
To treat each moment as it is eternity, that all the power is here where in you can do your most aligned moves.
That you are most beautiful, intelligent, talented, and strong right this second.
That there is no place you need to be other than here, and that there is no behavior of another you need to fix, and that there is no circumstance yearned for.
That all of your projects and endeavors are perfectly aligned and is the way it should be right this moment. You are open to change and learning.
We are all just in an interesting place, in a process of gradual becoming.
Experiencing the moment as it is can profoundly enrich our lives. Here are some quotes and casual reflections to inspire you:
“Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift.” – Alice Morse Earle. This reminds us that the present is where we truly live.
“Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today.” – Will Rogers. Focusing on now helps us avoid regrets and anxieties.
“Life is a succession of moments. To live each one is to succeed.” – Coreta Kent. Embracing each moment allows us to create a fulfilling life.
Living in the moment means appreciating simple joys, like a warm cup of coffee or a friend’s laughter. It’s about being present, engaged, and open to life’s beauty right now.
Just a little reminder to keep our perspectives fresh. We can always look again and see things with a little more appreciation.
