Straight up inspiration that will fire up the spirit within you
What do you call that something in your gut pushing you outside your comfort zone?
We all have this burning passion within that is calling out to be expressed. We feel it in our bones, skin and maybe different parts of our bodies.
We feel unease when spirit hints us it is time to move towards greater expression. We cling to the known because exertion of energy make us tired.
But if energy is exerted into things that bring us energy, we lose track of time and space. We become at one with the thing. In yoga we call this Dyhana, when we become fully absorbed and all outward sensations are turned inward.
Dhyana is a term used for the seventh anga (limb or level) in the eight-step Yoga practice of Sage Patanjali. This state is penultimate to Samadhi or “absorption.” Unfortunately, the word dhyana is usually translated as meditation, implying a state of abiding calm.
Rest in relaxed awareness in each segment of the day. In each activity turned into an offering by choosing to be humbled by life. The mere fact that we are consciously here is a majestic gift to be nurtured and flourished.
You are never not in your head and you can also get out of it and watch it.
Watch yourself from the birds eye view as a person thinking and living.
Approve of this being, knowing that it’s a perfect expression of God getting to know its Godliness each breath at a time. That it is undergoing a process called life and is trying its best.
You are what you are and what you are is pure beauty and strength. Nothing comes upon you that is ever treacherous nor wrong. It’s a blessing in disguise, it’s a stepping stone to redemption, it’s the golden Buddha chipping away of hardened mud.
Read all the self help books and joined the thousands of dollars of masterminds and courses to bring you this one lesson. Love yourself. Within it comes liberating yourself from all the delusions of lack.
You are enough as you are now and constantly learning and being better whether you try or don’t. A little conscious effort is all we need. Not to serious and not to heavy. Just one little brick at a time.
Simplify and subtract things you think you need to do. Do things within the day that bring you most joy, let the universe handle the others.
Focus on your true gift. The one special thing you are brought here to do. Delegate the other ones. Your time is too precious, your energy and mental real estate is the most valuable of assets. Be a good admin of your energy.
Make more vital life force by letting go of thinking. You can think for a certain amount of time but give it a time limit. When we think we are caught in choices and not really creating. Our minds are conduits of genius but these insights flow through you when you aren’t thinking of your bills, vacuuming, laundry and some other drama 10 years ago.
You can start right here, right now, to live the abundance of energy, creativity, connection that we are meant to. It is your divine right to create a life full of strength and possibility. It just takes a little intention.
When we work with spirit we get to be in coherent with the higher versions of ourselves. The one that understands, the one that learns, the one that trusts. Your higher self is on the mountain top and can see where you should turn, now you, down the valley just “feels” (messeges or hints by the higher self) what is right and where to turn. Trust when you are being called by the version of yourself up the mountain. It may seem scary, but that is where the treasure is.
Divine right action reign supreme, divine love fills your soul. Trust your inner knowing. It is a slow but worthwhile game. Do what is in accord with your core values. Be an exemplification of sacrifice for a higher cause. It doesn’t need to be grand like the Buddha or Jesus, you can practice purity by forgiving the guy cutting you in traffic or by being nice to people that are not nice. That’s where it counts. To love the unlovable, to have tea with Hitler and talk about his paintings.
The spirit within you is the one unbound by logic. The one that can quicken your evolution. The one that can endure, overcome, surpass and make beauty of anything it touches. Use spirit to fix for you things that are out of your control. Manage the things within your control. Surrender your preferences so that the bigger things that life has to offer us can make its way. Maybe in a form of a new idea, new practice, new way of looking at things.
When was the last time you felt unlimited? Go back there. Maybe when you were a kid and you discovered you can run as fast as you can and you can always go faster and faster. Maybe when you were coloring a coloring book and you just go crazy on the orange and red. Play in fields where others see gruesome or hard. It is a gift to be curious at odd things, even the seemingly mundane.
Make your body strong that you can high five the guys doing calisthenics at muscle beach. Just give it a try, make savage your body and make civil the mind I read somewhere the other day. You don’t need a special exercise or equipment, just do a variety of bodyweight exercises, I’ve been doing shaolin push ups of a hundred and it really helps in clearing the mind and making all other things easy.
Everything that you long for is on the other side of comfort. When you get too comfortable or complacent ask yourself if you are really serving your spirit right. Are you being that tree inside the acorn? Or are you avoiding growth because you are afraid of embarrassment, ridicule or some illusory story. Allow the blossoming of your full potential by trusting the untrodden path. Be brave to carve it, help other beings and staying oh so pure and true to your promise to make this life here on earth a daring adventure.
Let’s make this one lifetime count. Let’s discover and uncover what lies beneath and let go of all the unnecessary baggage.
