Start Early Today Protocol, Ramen, Indoor Garden & Walking
Routines, rituals, habits, they only work if you work it.
Real freedom is creative, proactive, and will take me into new territories. I am not free if my freedom is predicated on reacting to my past.
Many individuals operate in SURVIVAL MODE, reacting to life rather than proactively shaping it.
Upon waking, they often grab their smartphones, feeling immediately RUSHED and OVERWHELMED.
This reactive mindset influences their entire day and, ultimately, their lives, leading to compromised health, strained relationships, and diminished happiness.
They fail to align with their core values and aspirations.
The MORNING ROUTINE serves as a tool to transition out of this survival mode. By creating space in the morning, you can center yourself and focus on the person you aspire to become, as well as your most important goals and priorities.
With a consistent morning routine, you can significantly transform your life in just 3-6 months.
Instead of feeling RUSHED and REACTIVE, you will cultivate a sense of INTENTION and PURPOSE.
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
Evening Preparation
Spend 5 minutes before bed identifying your top 1-3 priorities for the following day.
Dedicate 10 minutes before sleep to contemplate your primary goal or the main problem you wish to address. This primes your subconscious mind as you rest, echoing Thomas Edison’s advice: "Never go to sleep without a request to your subconscious."
Go to bed 7 hours before you plan to wake up.
Avoid electronic screens 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
Refrain from checking email or social media within 60 minutes of sleeping to ensure quality time with loved ones and to recover from the day.
Place your alarm across the room, requiring you to get up to turn it off.
Spend 2-10 minutes in prayer or meditation, focusing on gratitude, your goals, and your priorities for the day.
“Every morning is a new opportunity to create a better version of yourself.”
Morning Routine
Take a few minutes to set a positive tone for the day, which will help you focus on what truly matters and foster an abundance mindset.
Pull out your journal and write about your primary goal or challenge. This engages your subconscious and can lead to breakthroughs.
Outline your long-term vision and goals in bullet points, using present-tense statements (e.g., "I am a best-selling author," "I earn over $250,000 per year," "I am fully present with my family").
Engage in 15-45 minutes of intensive physical exercise.
Consume 30 grams of protein (a plant-based protein shake with water works well).
Dedicate 15-60 minutes to focused work on a significant goal or passion project—something you’ve been putting off but truly want to pursue.
Take a cold shower or jump in a lake (shout out
) If following exercise, start with cold; if not, begin warm, then switch to cold for the last 30-60 seconds. Breathe deeply throughout to activate a sense of euphoria, inspired by Wim Hof’s techniques.Avoid checking email or social media for at least 60 minutes after waking.
After preparing mentally for the day, engage lovingly with your family. If you're alone, send supportive messages to important people in your life. Practice Meta Loving Kindness Meditation.
Listen to or read uplifting content (this can be during your exercise) to energize and motivate you for the day. Recommended materials include:
"Letting Go" by David Hawkins
"Braving the Wilderness" by Brené Brown
"Essentialism" by Greg McKeown
"Daily Stoic" by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman
"As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen
"The Power of Starting Something Stupid" by Richie Norton
"The Power of Intention" by Wayne Dyer
If you have children, spend quality time playing with them. Take a moment before interacting to ensure you’re present and engaged.
For creative pursuits, allocate 60-90 minutes to focused work on an important project. Research shows that willpower is highest in the morning, making it an optimal time for creativity. Consider listening to instrumental or ambient music to enhance focus during this deep work.
Give this a try for a week, track your results and adjust accordingly.
“In the kitchen, creativity knows no bounds. Let your flavors dance and your dishes sing.”
