Specificity of desire
What do you really want? What feelings arise when you start thinking of your audacious goals?
Sometimes our doubting mind immediately kicks in the moment, we imagine our most sincere desires. This is because our brains are wired to exist in worlds that are familiar to us. It loves existing from the patterns of yesterday and comfortable predictable tomorrow.
This leaves us living in a very predictable pattern. But patterns are for machines not for real human beings.
Seated deep within our souls is an infinity of possibilities that is constantly yearning to be born and expressed through each and everyone of us.
Find that one thing, that one thing that with just the mere thought of it brings a smile to your face and an eagerness to jump in engage and play.
Make time for silence to really clarify what is it that you want. With all the complexities of the outer world, finding that being can be challenging and overwhelming. Tune in to yourself of all unnecessary thoughts, and let inspiration overflow. When you feel it in your gut and with the wholeness of your being, it will be so easy to decide, go for it and tap into flow.
Specify your grandest goal, a worthwhile pursuit bigger than just existing and surviving of the flesh and ego.
Reignite your Why, how your expression will be of service to the world and how we are closing the gap moment to moment from less diluted way of being to purity.
Once we have specified our purpose here on earth, we now have a blueprint and a map to follow. We may change course but the whole essence and meaning of each act will be one of honor and knowingness.
One we know what we are doing, why we are doing it, serving a higher purpose, our energies will continue to replenish because in thinking and being as a whole, we are tapped into the true source of wellbeing.
The intelligence of the cosmos shall be your guide, the ego will be a small voice from afar, its complaining slowly fades out like an ending of a song in the 80’s.
Being specific will make you lead yourself towards a higher consciousness and self actualization. Know what you want and be articulate in communicating it to your fellow humans. We are all here to collaborate, not compete. To synergize not segregate.
Make that one true desire your manifesto. A code you live by. Being specific will move you from overwhelming complexities to one act at a time, fully focused, present agent of your purpose. In this state of present action, you will be in flow and tapped into the universal source of ever renewing life. Choose to be enthused, prime your physiological state, prime your mindset and execute with mindfulness.
It’s not better there than here
Never sacrifice your wellbeing for something outside of yourself. We can always work hard in a centered manner. Know that it is always here, nothing much will change after your big achievement. It is in the deliberate moment to moment practice, it is in while you write and truly share and express what you mean rather than the effect or numbers after you publish.
All that you search for is in you. Watch when we are putting completion outside of the present moment. We get overwhelmed when we think of things we think we need to do. But if we just get a little organized and do them mindfully one by one wholeheartedly, it becomes a seamless flow of accomplishments as if it was involuntary.
Stop thinking about doing it, just do it. As you do it, you become it. Mind can only focus at one thing, start with emptiness, then your vital few keystone non negotiables, make it time bound, measure results and adjust actions for the next bout.
Always remember that you are never not here. You are always here and it is always good.
Overflow yourself with your past successes, observe your inner self talk if it’s nourishing and helping you push the needle toward the highest good, if not, that is an obsolete thought that can be let go so that we have space for new thought. One that is more life affirming and empowering.
It’s never outside of you, what you are looking at is what you are. Your perception makes it real. So get creative with the stories you attach to things that you see. It’s all you, created by you, and experienced by you. How’s it gonna be? It can be fantastic you know. It only depends on how far are you willing to stretch what is possible for you at from this moment onwards. Be overflowed with positive energy and equanimity, get overwhelmed for a minute and tune into your inner knowing for answers.
There is always a simple solution, sometimes the next best step is right in front of us.
What’s stopping us are beliefs that can be changed; beliefs are just thoughts we repeatedly think
Instead of believing and constantly living under your self limiting belief, stay for a while and question them. Going beyond these limitations is what we are here for. These are just constructs and concepts that we choose to believe and act according to.
Remember times before you were programmed to believe certain things. Try to experiment with thinking of other scenarios for yourself that is outside the capability of your current state.
Debug your mind like a computer. Reboot through stillness, enhance awareness through breath, and cultivate the courage to seek deeper on what truly means for you to live.
Overwhelm is when we run too many what ifs in our heads. Overflow is when we are so tuned into what is True within and without that everything is one. Stop the chattering of the small mind and bring attention to harmony, balance and unity.
Break free from the cycle by disrupting your pattern by deliberately sitting still. In stillness there is nothing that is not known. You will know that thinking patterns can be stepped back from, watched, observed, studied and designed.
Observe when you are invited to be overwhelmed by your thinking mind. There are more intelligences built in you other than the cerebral mind. Tune into your gut, heart, subtle body, esthetic body, your vibrational resonance.
The thinking mind is the loudest because it is the most scared. It doesn’t know that it is taken care of, it thinks it’s gonna run out of love.
Your brain’s default
You are running on the brain’s default if you are seeking pleasure, avoiding pain, and finding a way to exert as little effort as possible. This feature of the brain has its benefits but it hinders us from growing towards what we can be.
Step out of this automated tendency and unleash the power that is latent inside you by choosing to endure hard things. Doing more than necessary in service of the highest good of the whole, not just what’s in it for me type of thinking.
Going beyond the primitive mind’s default is having the intent of sharing what can we contribute to the big picture, when we embody the whole, functioning in service beyond the needs of our small self, we expand our capabilities and we quell the illusory fear because in knowing that we are all united, each one is held, supported, helped and understood that we are all trying our best and evolving at our own unique pace. We are just all in an interesting place that keeps on changing for the better.
We are bigger than the brain’s default tendencies, in one breath you can move from overwhelm to overflow.
Feel all the feels (panic and anxiety)
The goal is not to get rid of bad feelings. Be there and let it run through you in equanimity. Observe yourself being worried, panicky and anxious, label them. Observe where they appear in your body and what sensations they represent. Don’t be afraid of feeling bad, be curious about it, what are the underlying reasons for this? And believe me, if you boil it down to the heart of the matter, it's always not loving yourself enough.
So everytime you feel like running away from an emotion, it is you running away from yourself. It is so much better to know it, face it, befriend it, and if it is no longer serving your highest purpose, there is no need to spend your precious time on it.
Utilize the energy to get things done, to get you closer to your Self actualization, maybe through a feeling, prose, song or a prayer.
Don’t be afraid of emotions, explore and study it, own it, channel it to something productive. Own your shadow by embracing and integrating it.
This is an invitation to that which is greater than one's self. If you can touch your shadow—within form—and do something out of your ordinary pattern, a great deal of energy will flow from it.

Risk rejection, move towards dread
Befriend dread, try doing a dread sprint. As you postpone doing the things you know you need to do, the burden increases. It takes up precious real estate in your head and eating up energy just by staying there. Count from 5 to 1 and get it done. Most times it just takes two minutes to break through resistance, fail fast so you know the refined direction.
Be ok with embarrassment, ship your shitty first draft, then you'll know the next best step towards where you really want to be. Put out your product that no one will buy, so youll know how to market to the right people.
Measure your results, not the actions you did. We maybe doin a lot of busy work but not really going anywhere.
We get overwhelmed when we dont move, try to move even in fear, be proud of your failures and clarify your path towards success. Life begins when you walk your own path, learn from your own mistakes and build capabilities snd confidence as you spend time here on earth.
Nip dread in the bud by tackling it immediately and as soon as you get at it, you'll realize that it's no biggie, its just the mind that tends to inflate and exaggerate because it is creative that way.
Be proud of your mistakes
What mistakes are you most proud of? They are not things you should be ashamed of. Mistakes are the doorways to the better path. They are only mistakes if you keep on repeating them, if learned from, mistakes are just pointers to the right direction.
Lessons will repeat themselves until learned so be ready, be alert when the teacher appears and have a joyful time each moment as you go.
